Summer's Last Bloom

$1,600.00

The final bloom on my hibiscus plant this summer seemed to last forever. It was so beautiful for so long, I felt the need to attempt to preserve the bloom in a painting. I don’t usually paint realistically so this was a good challenge for me. The texture and blending can be seen by clicking through the various pictures, four of which show close-ups of sections of the painting.

This original acrylic/mixed media is 36” x 36” on a cradled wood panel, is wired and ready for hanging. It can be hung as is and I leave the framing choice up to the collector of this piece. Mat and framing shown not included; shown only for display purposes.
